Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Carefully read the submission guidelines as follows:

A. General Requirements

The minimum standard requirements of the International Journal of Business, Education, Humanities and Social Sciences must be:

  1. Written in English.
  2. The length of the submitted paper is at least 10 pages and no more than 15 pages. Editors will evaluate if a paper needs more than 15 pages.
  3. Use a tool such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote for reference management and formatting, and choose the APA 7th style.
  4. Make sure that your paper is prepared using the IJBHES paper template.

B. Structure of The Manuscript

The manuscript must be prepared and suggested present follow the structure:

  1. Title
    Write the title briefly and clearly; no more than 15 words is recommended.
  2. Abstract
    Write the abstract within a range of 150 to 250 words, with no citation. Abstract should include research problem(s), objective(s), method, findings, and contributions.
  3. Keywords
    Add between three and six keywords. Keywords should describe and relate to your paper.
  4. Section structure
    Authors are suggested to present their articles in the section structure:

    Introduction

    The introduction should set the study in context by briefly reviewing relevant knowledge of the subject. Introduction to include research motivation(s), background, research question(s), and research objective(s).
     
    Literature Review
    The Literature Review explains the theory used as the logical basis for developing a hypothesis or research proposition and research model. This section presents previous literature related to the research and describes the development of the hypothesis (if applicable).

    Method
    The method describes the research design used in the study, including data selection and collection approaches, measurement, operational variable definitions, and data analysis methods.

    Result and Discussion
    Results and discussion present the outcomes of data analysis, hypothesis testing (if applicable), answers to the research questions, along with findings and their interpretations. The results should be accompanied by an explanation of what is shown in the table or figure. The discussion should address the significance of the observations.

    Conclusion
    A brief explanation of the significance and implications of the work reported.

  5. References
    Must use Reference Manager Tools (Mendeley, EndNote, Zotero, etc). Expect a minimum of 20 references from the last 10 years, primarily with a minimum of 80% to international journal papers.
